Attractions include cabins, a campground, group camping, an equestrian campground, a conference center, hiking trails, lake swimming, rowboats, canoes, paddleboats, kayaks, picnicking and two playgrounds. The park is just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The bathroom at shelter 3 is open and we have porta-johns located at the following parking lots: Office, Shelter 1, Amphitheater/Trailhead and at the Boat Ramp on Union Bridge Road. Credit cards can be used in the park office when open.
